Bachelor of Policing (Investigations)

CSU’s Bachelor of Policing (Investigations) course is designed for serving police officers who intend pursuing a career in investigation.

The Bachelor of Policing (Investigations) is specifically aimed at operational detectives or investigators and aims to enhance the capabilities of the professional investigator by building upon their existing knowledge of investigative practice and procedure. It is designed to complement existing in-service investigation programs or their equivalent.

Bachelor of Policing

CSU’s Bachelor of Policing course is intended for officers in relevant agencies with a policing focus, to enhance professional policing practice.

The course aims to prepare graduates who are able to undertake independent critical reflection on policing policy and practice, and apply the results of research in policing to professional practice

The degree will enable graduates to understand and contribute to discussions of strategic directions in policing and to contribute to the profession of policing.

Master of Animal Science

CSU’s Master of Animal Science aims to promote advanced critical reflection on professional practice in the animal industries, preparing graduates for leadership positions.

The Master of Animal Science aims to:

* provide opportunity to continue lifelong learning in keeping with the University's mission statement
* meet the educational needs of professionals working in the ever-evolving animal industries

Bachelor of Equine Science

CSU’s Bachelor of Equine Science course aims to support graduates to develop substantial skills and knowledge in relation to the modern management of horses, underpinned by a strong education in science and scientific method.

The Bachelor of Equine Science can be studied as a three-year full-time program on the Wagga Wagga Campus, or by distance education as a part-time, six-year program.

Students who complete the course will develop substantial skills and knowledge in relation to the modern management of horses, underpinned by a strong education in science and scientific method.

Bachelor of Medical Science / Bachelor of Forensic Biotechnology

CSU offers this double degree combining relevant course content from the nationally accredited Bachelor of Medical Science and the recently updated Bachelor of Forensic Biotechnology program. Students may specialise in Pathology within the Bachelor of Medical Science.

Graduates of this course will enhance their professional standing by doubling their knowledge, skills and experience without having to double the time spent at university.

Bachelor of Forensic Biotechnology

CSU’s new Bachelor of Forensic Biotechnology meets the needs of students wishing to develop a career in Forensic Science or Biotechnology or any field of medical research. It also serves the needs of those students seeking postgraduate entry into medical degrees and those looking for a broad based offering of subjects that will promote entry into postgraduate research.

Master of Computational Modelling

CSU's Master of Computational Modelling develops skills in resource management, financial analysis, environmental systems and engineering design.

The Master of Computational Modelling is a Master degree by research drawing on the resources of the School of Computing and Mathematics and the International Centre of Water for Food Security.

The course is suited to students with an interest in mathematical aspects of modelling, statistics, spatial science, hydrology or information technology.

Master of Systems Development

Achievement of Microsoft's premium IT industry certifications for systems developers is included as an integral part of CSU’s Master of Systems Development.

These courses provide professionals in the IT industry with an advanced course of study in Systems Development that is current, relevant and integrates industry certification in these fields.

Upon completion of the Master degree, graduates will possess:

* advanced skills in the design, implementation and management of computer systems
* higher order systems development knowledge and skills

Master of Networking and Systems Administration

Achievement of the world’s premium IT industry certifications from Cisco, Microsoft or Novell are included as an integral part of CSU’s Master of Networking and Systems Administration.

The aim of these courses is to provide professionals in the IT industry with an advanced course of study in Networking and Systems Administration that is current, relevant and integrates industry certification in these fields.

Upon completion of the Master degree, graduates will possess:

* advanced skills in the design, implementation and management of networks

Master of Management (Information Technology)

Achievement of the world’s premium Information Technology industry certifications from major IT vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, Novell, Oracle, and the Project Management Institute (PMI) are included as an integral part of CSU’s Master of Management (Information Technology).
